Keara McGraw & Zelda Galewsky
Keara McGraw is a Chicago-based illustrator whose passion for storytelling just barely eclipses that for peanut butter. Beyond the world’s most perfect nut-based condiment, Keara is passionate about printmaking, embroidery and research-driven illustration. Keara recently completed her BFA in Illustration from Columbia College Chicago. Clients include Nautilus, American Express, Cherry Bombe Magazine, VICE Media, Chickpea Magazine and South Side Weekly, among others. Currently, she works as a freelance illustrator and printmaking instructor. If it’s lavender scented, Keara loves burning the candle at both ends, proudly working at one of Chicago’s tastiest restaurants in Logan Square.
Zelda Galewsky is an illustrator and printmaker living in Chicago. She was born in London, England and has since then lived in Urbana, IL, before moving to Chicago. Zelda's work has been published in both american and international publications, including noble Rot Magazine, Newcity, and Shameless Magazine. Her work ranges across mediums, from oil painting to printmaking to ceramics. Her pieces, although often representational, focus on the simplified shape of the subject matter and push the boundaries of the composition. Her focus on everyday subject matter helps bring a new perspective to things often overlooked.
