Meet Victoria Orozco, our new Make/Look/Reflect resident! Make/Look/Reflect is a week-long intensive residency program that focuses on mentorship for artists pursuing undergraduate degrees. This residency offers space and guidance to make work outside of a classroom setting to prepare artists for their post-graduation practice. Through an extensive roster of art spaces, conversations, and studio visits, the resident is asked to explore their making, looking, and reflecting process.
Victoria Orozco (b.1999) is a latina photographer and graphic designer. Through her work she explores ideas of heritage, portraiture, and street art. Orozco is currently a student at Pasadena City College earning an associate in arts degree. She has always had an interest in the arts growing up and knew she’d like to be apart of that community. Her residency at The Overlook marks her first time out of California and she hopes she doesnt freeze during her time in Chicago. She is based in Los Angeles.
